BELLINGHAM, WA (MyBellinghamNow.com) – If you’re looking for something to do this evening, one of Bellingham’s parks will have free music as a concert series kicks off.

The Summer Concert Series in the Parks returns this year after a hiatus.

Starting tonight, every Thursday evening for the rest of summer will have a free concert at Elizabeth Park. Boulevard Park will also have concerts on the last Friday of each month.

The lineup is primarily local outfits performing in a variety of genres.

The series begins with North Sound Soul, a blues and funk-centric band with horns. It’ll go from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Columbia neighborhood park.
