BELLINGHAM, WA (MyBellinghamNow.com) – A suspected Bellingham drug dealer was arrested following a months-long investigation.

Whatcom County Sheriff’s spokesperson Deb Slater says that the Whatcom Gang and Drug Task Force made controlled purchases from the suspect last fall.

The 32-year-old male suspect was arrested on Tuesday, Jan. 28 after deputies witnessed him engage in a suspected drug deal. Investigators were simultaneously granted a search warrant for the suspect’s Bellingham home.

They seized a number of narcotics from the residence, including suspected fentanyl powder, fentanyl-laced pills, and methamphetamine. A handgun and a stolen bike were also removed from the home.

The suspect was released from the Whatcom County Jail on Wednesday, Jan. 29 after posting bail.
