A former Mariner dubbed “The Most Interesting Man in Baseball” has passed away.
Lenny Randle died at his home in California on Sunday, according to one of his sons.
He played 12 years in the MLB, ending with two seasons in Seattle in 1981 and 1982.
Randle was known for his colorful personality; speaking five languages, performing standup comedy and, most famously, was suspended for punching his manager on the Texas Rangers in 1977.
Randle was 75 when he passed away and his wife has asked that the cause of death not be shared publicly.
