Another coach has left Seattle.
The Chicago Bears hired Shane Waldron as their offensive coordinator earlier today.
He joins the Bears after three years as OC with the Seahawks.
Seattle ranked 21st in total offense, 14th in passing and 17th in scoring this past season.
The Dodgers are signing former Mariner James Paxton.
Los Angeles agreed to a one-year, $11 million contract with the 35-year-old starting pitcher today.
Paxton has struggled with injuries recently, managing just six starts from 2020-2022 before going 7-5 with the Red Sox last season.
He was a reliable starter for the M’s for six seasons before getting traded in 2018.
Sophomore running back Jonah Coleman announced on social media Sunday that he’s transferring from Arizona to Washington.
The 5-foot-9, 225-pound Coleman played in every game last season, leading the Wildcats in rushing with 871 yards and was tied for the team lead in touchdowns with five.
Also Sunday, quarterback Demond Williams Jr. committed to the Huskies after entering the portal.
Arizona athletic director Dave Heeke is out after seven years with the school.
The announcement comes after the school’s football coach, Jedd Fisch, left to coach at Washington and took much of his coaching staff, and some players, with him.
It also comes in the midst of major financial troubles with the school.
Heeke announced a plan last week to help the university recover from a $240 million miscalculation of projected cash on hand.
Arizona’s athletic department is still on the hook to repay a $55 million loan issued during the pandemic.

The Nooksack girls followed with a 56-40 win over Burlington.
And the Lynden Christian girls blew by Anacortes 71-33.
