It turns out the NFL season isn’t completely over for a pair of Seahawks.

Leonard Williams and Jaxon Smith-Njigba were each named to the Pro Bowl this week as late additions.

Williams is coming in for Philadelphia’s Jalen Carter, who is getting ready for the Super Bowl.

The Seahawks’ star d-lineman is coming off a career year where he logged 11 sacks and 16 tackles for loss.

It’s Williams’ second Pro Bowl nod of his career.

Meanwhile, Smith-Njigba is taking the place of Washington’s Terry McLaurin, who is coming off a loss to the Eagles last Sunday.

JSN tied Tyler Lockett’s single-season franchise record with 100 receptions and a team-high 1,130 receiving yards.

Both players join cornerback Devon Witherspoon to make it 14 straight seasons where the Seahawks have had at least three Pro Bowl selections.

The Kraken couldn’t hold onto an early lead and fell to the Edmonton Oilers 4-2 last night.

Eeli Tolvanen and Vince Dunn each scored in the first period to give Seattle a 2-1 lead.

But Connor McDavid tied the game in  his return from a three-game suspension.

Edmonton added on two more goals and held Seattle scoreless in the final two periods to earn their third straight win.

The Kraken now head back home for a five-game homestand, starting tonight against the Anaheim Ducks.
