The Seattle Kraken capped off their homestand with a win last night.
They beat the Columbus Blue Jackets 4-2 thanks to a pair of early goals from Jordan Eberle.
Seattle got off to a quick 3-0 lead in the first period after Eberle scored two goals and Jared McCann added a third.
The Blue Jackets stormed back in the third period to make it 3-2 with just over 4 minutes remaining.
But Brandon Tenev scored an insurance goal with under a minute left to play to secure the win.
The Kraken will head to San Jose tomorrow to play the Sharks before taking an extended 10-day break for the All-Star game.

NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero reports that the Philadelphia Eagles are expected to hire former Seahawks defensive coordinator Clint Hurtt as their defensive line coach.
Hurtt has been with Seattle since 2017, where he started as an assistant head coach and defensive line coach before transitioning to the team’s defensive coordinator in 2022.
He’ll bring his assistant Karl Scott to Philadelphia with him to coach the Eagles’ defensive backs.
The Western Washington University women’s team got their biggest win of the season on Saturday.
They beat Montana State-Billings 76-68 to win their seventh-straight game.
It was a matchup of nationally ranked teams with the 17th-ranked Vikings hosting the ninth-ranked Yellowjackets.
Senior Brooke Walling led the team with 18 points.
Stephanie Peterson added a game-high six assists and six steals in the win.
The Vikings remain a perfect 10-0 at Carver Gym this season.
The men’s team didn’t find as much success.
They lost to Northwest Nazarene 75-72 for their fifth loss in seven games.
The Vikings trailed by 10 late in the second half before bringing it within one possession in the final minute but couldn’t close it out.
Kai Johnson kept up his red-hot scoring with 25 points in the loss.
Meanwhile, the University of Washington women picked up a major upset win.
They beat #11 USC on the road 62-59.
The Huskies men’s team also got a big 98-73 win over Utah.

Lynden girls beat Sehome 74-39 for their ninth-straight win.
Bellingham boys topped Mount Baker 63-49.
Bellingham girls followed with a 50-31 win over Baker.
Meridian boys handled Oak Harbor 75-37.
Meridian girls beat Sulton 36-26.
Nooksack Valley boys fell to King’s 70-58.
Blaine boys lost to Anacortes 86-47.
Blaine girls edged Anacortes 39-33.
Lynden Christian boys stumped Ferndale 78-50.
And the LC girls found similar success with an 82-54 win over the Golden Eagles.
