The Seahawks are concluding their regular season this weekend with a divisional showdown against the Los Angeles Rams.
The 9-7 Hawks currently sit a game behind the 10-6 Rams, but LA owns the tiebreaker and has already clinched the NFC West.
It will be a game with only pride on the line for first-year head coach Mike Macdonald, who will look to help Seattle improve on last season’s 9-8 record.
However, a pair of Seahawks will have plenty of motivation to show out.
Second-year receiver Jaxon Smith-Njigba is just five catches away from breaking Tyler Lockett’s franchise record for receptions in a single season.
Meanwhile, Geno Smith could earn up to $6 million in incentives if he gets the team to 10 wins, reaches 186 passing yards to set a new career high, and keeps his current 70.2% completion rate above 69.8%.
No matter the outcome, this Sunday marks the last time the Seahawks will take the field until the 2025 season.
