The Kraken are back tonight as they look to avoid a three-game skid.

Seattle’s hosting the San Jose Sharks in a matchup of divisional foes.

The Kraken are coming off back-to-back losses that resulted in the team placing goalie Phillip Grubauer on waivers.

They currently sit nine points behind the Canucks for the second and final wild-card spot in the Western Conference.

The Tacoma Rainiers announced yesterday that Rylee Pay will be their new radio broadcaster.

That makes her the first female lead broadcaster in Triple-A baseball.

Pay replaces longtime broadcaster Mike Curto, who announced his retirement after 25 seasons with the Rainiers.

 

Vikings basketball is back in Bellingham.

The Lady Viks are hosting Saint Martin’s tonight with a chance to get a much-needed conference win.

They currently sit a game behind second place in the GNAC standings.

Meanwhile, the Western men are up north to face Alaska Anchorage.

The Viks have recovered from a rocky 0-5 start in conference play to win their next four games.

They’ll look to make it five straight tonight in Anchorage.

The Wazzu men are looking to avoid a three-game losing streak when they travel to play Pacific.

And the Lady Cougs are home for Pacific as they try to climb back to first place in the West Coast Conference.

The LC boys doubled up Oak Harbor 90-43 to notch their 10th straight win.
