The Seahawks have fumbled their division lead in another primetime loss.

Seattle fell to the San Francisco 49ers 36-24 last night on Thursday Night Football for their third straight loss.

The Niners took a 23-3 lead into the third quarter before Geno Smith led the Seahawks on back-to-back touchdown drives to get them within striking distance.

But Seattle was in the midst of a potential go-ahead drive midway through the 4th quarter when Geno threw his second pick of the game.

The Niners went on to score and, despite Tyler Lockett finding the endzone to get the Seahawks back within five points, San Fran scored yet again to cement the victory.

It was the 49ers rushing attack that highlighted the win, outgaining the Seahawks by over 170 yards on the ground.

It’s Seattle’s third loss in 11 days after getting off to a 3-0 start under first-year head coach Mike Macdonald.

The Niners improved to 3-3 and moved into a tie with Seattle for first place in the NFC West.

The Seahawks are back on the road next Sunday for a match in Atlanta.

Russell Wilson is finally healthy, but that doesn’t mean he’ll be playing this Sunday.

Steelers coach Mike Tomlin says Russ is poised to be active for their upcoming game against the Raiders, but he’ll serve as backup to Justin Fields.

Wilson – a former star in Seattle – was named Pittsburgh’s starter in the preseason, but aggravated a calf injury and has been inactive for every game this season.

Meanwhile, Fields has helped lead the Steelers to a 3-2 record with eight touchdowns and just one interception.
