The Kraken ended their preseason on a high note last night.

They beat the Edmonton Oilers 6-2 thanks to a pair of goals from Shane Wright.

The opening period ended scoreless, but Seattle exploded for four goals in the second to boost them to the win.

They end the preseason with a 2-3-1 record.

The Kraken open their season at home this Tuesday against the St. Louis Blues.

 

The division round of the MLB playoffs is coming into view.

The Detroit Tigers, Kansas City Royals and San Diego Padres all moved on from the Wild Card round yesterday with sweeps in their best of three series’.

Now, the Brewers and the Mets are facing off tonight for a chance to face the Phillies in the NLDS.

Around the rest of the league, the Yankees are playing the Royals, Tigers are facing the Guardians and the Dodgers are playing the Padres all in best-of-five series.

All four divisional series begin on Saturday.

 

Bad news for the Seahawks’ defense after the team released its latest injury report after practice yesterday.

Byron Murphy, Tyrell Dodson and Boye Mafe were all held out of practice.

The good news is that Leonard Williams, Uchenna Nwosu, Julian Love and Jerome Baker were all limited participants after missing Monday’s game against Detroit.

Nwosu could be in line to finally make his return to the field against New York this Sunday in what would be his first regular season game since Week 7 of last season.
