Seahawks fans were left stunned after yesterday’s 29-20 loss to the New York Giants.

Jason Myers was lining up for a game-tying field goal with under a minute left when the Giants blocked the attempt and returned it 60 yards for a touchdown.

It ended a shaky performance by the Seahawks that handed them their second straight loss of the season.

Seattle opened up strong with a 102 yard fumble return touchdown by Rayshawn Jenkins, but their offense sputtered from there.

The Seahawks went on to get outscored 23-6 until Jaxon Smith-Njigba caught a 5-yard TD pass from Geno Smith to bring them within three points.

But the blocked field goal ended Seattle’s hopes of pulling it out at home as they dropped to 3-2 on the season.

The bad news for Seahawks fans didn’t stop there.

The team just announced that outside linebacker Uchenna Nwosu won’t be available for Thursday’s game against the 49ers.

Nwosu returned to regular season play yesterday for the first time since Week 7 of the 2023 season, but left with a thigh injury in the second quarter.

Mike Macdonald says the team will know in the next few days if he’ll be out for more than a week.

Lynden made a thrilling comeback against Sehome in an instant classic over the weekend.

Sehome led 23-7 with under 11 minutes left in the fourth quarter before senior quarterback Brant Heppner led the Lions on back-to-back touchdown drives where they got the 2-point conversion in each to tie the game.

The Mariners responded with a quick 7 points, but Heppner again marched the Lions down the field to score and get another 2-point conversion to take their first lead of the game with 20 seconds left.

Sehome willed themselves into Lynden territory as time ran down, but got picked off in the endzone to cement the 31-30 win for the Lions.
