The Kraken’s post-All-Star break woes continued last night.
They lost to the New Jersey Devils 3-1 for the Kraken’s third straight loss and eighth in ten games.
The Devils outscored the Kraken 3-0 in the first two periods.
Will Borgen finally scored Seattle’s lone goal halfway through the third, but it was too little, too late.
With the loss, the Kraken fall to an even 21-21-10 on the season.
They’ll look to get their head above .500 tonight with a game against the New York Islanders.

The Vikings beat Cal State Monterey Bay 6-1 on Saturday to keep a perfect 9-0 record to open the season.
That was good enough to place them at No. 18 in the first Division II coaches poll of the year.
The Vikings are one of just five undefeated NCAA D-II programs in the country that have played at least four games.
A former Whatcom County prep basketball standout was honored this week.
Lynden Christian alum Riley Dykstra won the GNAC Women’s Basketball Player of the Week award.
She scored 30 points in the Vikings’ 69-60 win over Central Washington on Saturday.
It’s Dykstra’s second Player of the Week win this season.
She’s averaging 10.9 points and 4.8 rebounds per game and is one of the top 3-point shooters in the conference, hitting at a 45% clip.

The sixth-seeded Sehome boys had their season end as they lost to fourth-seeded Lakewood 63-53 in the 2A district tournament.
The fifth-seeded Bellingham boys also lost to third-seeded Anacortes 78-60 in their last game of the season.
Anacortes was led by 37 points from star junior Davis Fogle.
They move on to face Lakewood in the consolation bracket.
Winner of that game will face the loser of Lynden vs Cedarcrest with a spot in the state tournament on the line.
The Sehome girls have a chance at redemption for the Mariners tonight.
They’re facing Anacortes in a win-or-go-home game.
Meanwhile, the Squalicum girls are taking on Burlington-Edison in another must-win match to keep the Storm’s season alive.
