A legendary Seahawks coach fell short of making the Pro Football Hall of Fame.
Mike Holmgren didn’t get the 80% support needed to be voted into the Hall of Fame last night.
He trails only Pete Carroll for most wins by a Seahawks head coach.
Four players made it into the Hall including Antonio Gates, Jared Allen, Eric Allen and Sterling Sharpe.
That made it the smallest induction class in 20 years following offseason rule changes that made it harder to get voted in.
The Kraken couldn’t come back from an early hole and fell to the Maple Leafs 3-1 last night.
Toronto opened up with two goals in the first period and entered the third with a 3-0 lead.
Eeli Tolvanen scored Seattle’s lone goal in the third period, but they couldn’t complete the rally and lost their third straight game.

Former Sehome standout Grant Kepley paced the team with 24 points, 12 rebounds and 5 assists to help the winning effort.
Western now sits at fifth place in the GNAC standings after starting out 0-5 against conference opponents.
They’ll look to win their eighth straight tomorrow night when they host Seattle Pacific.

Meanwhile, the Western women couldn’t keep their three-game win streak up.
