The Seahawks’ offense is looking a whole lot different after the weekend.
ESPN’s Adam Schefter reports the team has agreed to a three-year, $110.5 million deal with Sam Darnold.
According to Schefter, the deal includes $55 million in guaranteed money.
Darnold is coming off a career year with the Minnesota Vikings, where he led them to 14 wins and earned his first career Pro Bowl nod.
He’ll look to replace Geno Smith, who was traded to the Las Vegas Raiders three days ago for a third-round draft pick.
The Darnold bombshell comes just a day after the team announced it’s sending star receiver DK Metcalf to the Pittsburgh Steelers for a second-round pick in this year’s draft.
The Steelers followed the trade by handing Metcalf a five-year, $150 million extension.
Pittsburgh will also flip its sixth-round pick in the draft for Seattle’s seventh-rounder as part of the deal.
It comes after Metcalf requested a trade last Wednesday as he entered the final year of his contract with the Seahawks.

Not to be lost in the mix were a pair of key defensive starters that are returning to the Seahawks.
