The Mariners are back in Seattle tonight with Bryan Woo making his much-anticipated season debut on the mound.
Woo was placed on the injured list to start the season with elbow inflammation.
Since then, he’s thrown nearly 12 shutout innings with 17 strikeouts and no walks in three rehab starts with Triple-A Tacoma.
The Mariners are coming off their first series loss in nearly a month after losing three out of four to the Twins this week.
They’ll look to bounce back against an Oakland Athletics club that has lost four of their last five.

The Seattle Storm start their season next week.
The Storm are coming off an eventful offseason where they signed All-Star free agents Nneka Ogwumike and Skylar Diggins-Smith.
The two veterans will pair with last year’s league-leading scorer Jewell Loyd for a new Big 3 in Seattle.
The new-look Storm earned the fourth spot in ESPN’s preseason rankings despite finishing with the second-worst record in the league last season.
They’ll host the Minnesota Lynx in their season opener on Tuesday at 7 p.m.
Western Washington University’s softball team suffered their first loss of the postseason this morning.
A seventh-inning rally fell just short in the Vikings’ 4-3 loss to Cal St. San Marcos.
It snapped Western’s seven-game win streak, but their season isn’t over yet.
The West Regional bracket is double-elimination, so the Vikings are set for a rematch against Azusa Pacific, who they beat on a walk-off hit yesterday.
If they win today, Western will get a second chance against San Marcos tomorrow with a trip to the Super Regional round on the line.

Meanwhile, crosstown rivals Bellingham and Sehome are meeting in the 2A District 1 consolation bracket final at Civic Stadium tomorrow at 1 p.m. with a state-tournament appearance on the line.
Sehome is coming off a loss to Squalicum in the district championship that ended their 17-game win streak.
Moving on to baseball, Lynden fell to Anacortes 5-4 in 10 innings last night in the 2A District 1 title game.
The Lions will play Burlington-Edison tomorrow at 1 p.m. for a spot in the state tournament.
Lynden Christian and Nooksack Valley are playing in the 1A District 1 consolation bracket tomorrow for a spot in state as well.
And the fastpitch softball 2A district tournament starts today.
Sehome hosts Squalicum and Anacortes hosts Bellingham in the opening round this evening.
The 1A district tournament starts next week.
