The Mariners are back tonight after a thrilling finish to yesterday’s comeback win.
Cal Raleigh hit a walk-off grand slam to deliver an 8-4 win over the White Sox after the M’s trailed 4-0 in the eighth inning.
The game was scoreless until the sixth, when Luis Robert Jr. hit a 2-run homer for Chicago, then they tacked on one run in each of the next two innings.
Dominic Canzone finally got the M’s on the board with a solo homer in the bottom of the eighth before Mitch Haniger hit a 2-run single to get them within one.
Luke Raley went on to land an incredible bunt that scored Josh Rojas to tie the game heading into the ninth inning.
Ryne Stanek held the Sox off in the top of the ninth to set up Raleigh’s third career walk off.
The M’s will look to carry that momentum into tonight’s game with Jhonathan Diaz making his season debut on the mound after Bryan Woo was scratched while the team waits on results of an MRI on his arm.
Coverage begins at 5:30 and first pitch is at 6:40 on KPUG.
The Florida Panthers beat the Edmonton Oilers 4-1 last night to take a 2-0 lead in the Stanley Cup Finals.
Edmonton held a 1-0 lead entering the second period, but Florida evened it up in the second and scored three unanswered goals in the third to help the Panthers defend their home ice.
Evan Rodriguez had two goals for the Panthers, who are now two wins away from securing their first-ever Stanley Cup.
The series now heads back to Edmonton for Game Three on Thursday with the Oilers looking to keep their hopes alive at home.
The Bellingham Bells are back in action tonight.
They’re in Wenatchee for the first of their three-game series against the AppleSox.

Wenatchee owns the best record in the North Division at 7-2.
The Bells could take control of the division with a strong series though, they currently sit just two games behind the AppleSox at 5-4.
First pitch tonight is at 6:35.
And 4th of July just won’t be the same this year.
Major League Eating announced today that Joey Chestnut has been banned from the annual Nathan’s Famous Hot Dog Eating Contest this upcoming Independence Day.
A spokesperson for the league says Chestnut has chosen to “represent another hot dog brand,” which makes him ineligible to participate in the competition.
Chestnut reportedly agreed to a sponsorship deal with Impossible Foods, a company that makes plant-based hot dogs.
A Major League Eating organizer likened Chestnut’s decision to Michael Jordan telling Nike that he’s going to represent Adidas too.
Chestnut has won Nathan’s annual hot dog eating contest 16 times, including every year since 2016.
