The Mariners are back against the White Sox tonight in the third of their four-game series on the heels of another late-game rally.

Seattle trailed 3-2 going into the seventh inning last night when Cal Raleigh hit a 2-run double to give them the lead.

The M’s relievers held Chicago’s bats silent from there to hold onto the 4-3 win.

Raleigh has been a hero for Seattle in this series after hitting a walk off grand slam Monday night then the go-ahead double last night.

His two doubles made up two of the Mariners’ five hits yesterday.

Jhonathan Diaz gave up three runs through 5 and ⅓ innings in his first start of the season after Bryan Woo was a late scratch from the game.

The M’s enter tonight’s matchup looking to win their fourth straight game with Bryce Miller getting the start.

Coverage begins at 5:30 and first pitch is at 6:40 on KGMI.

The Dallas Mavericks are hoping to get some home magic tonight in Game Three of the NBA Finals.

The Boston Celtics lead the series 2-0 but just got some worrying news.

Their big man Kristaps Porzingis was diagnosed with a “rare” leg injury and has been ruled out for tonight’s matchup.

He’s been a key factor in both of Boston’s wins this series.

Luka Doncic and the Mavs are looking to avoid the dreaded 3-0 deficit which no NBA team has ever come back from.

Coverage begins at 4:30 and tip off is at 5:30 on KPUG.

Sad news out of the NBA, Jerry West died this morning at the age of 86.

West built an iconic career as a player and executive, but is best known for his silhouette that is considered to be the basis of the NBA logo.

He led the Lakers to the NBA Finals nine times and won once in 1972.

He’s also the only player to ever win Finals MVP as part of the losing team.

West found success as an executive after his playing days, winning eight titles while in the front office with the Lakers and Warriors, and won Executive of the Year twice.

The NBA is planning a pregame tribute to West before Game Three of the finals tonight.

Former University of Washington head basketball coach Mike Hopkins is on the move.

ESPN reports that he’s agreed to a deal to become an assistant coach with the Phoenix Suns.

Hopkins was fired from UW in March after coaching the Huskies to a 17-15 season.

He won Pac-12 Coach of the Year twice during his seven seasons at UW.

Hopkins joins a Suns team led by Kevin Durant and Devin Booker that ended the season on a disappointing first-round sweep to Minnesota.

The Seattle Storm beat the Los Angeles Sparks last night 95-79.

Off-season addition Nneka Ogwumike scored a season-high 26 points against her former team and Jewell Loyd added 21 in the win.

The Storm have won seven of their last eight games and sit just one game back from Minnesota for first place in the Western Conference.

Their next game is against the Wings in Dallas tomorrow at 4 p.m.

And the Bellingham Bells put on a show last night in Wenatchee.

The Bells beat the AppleSox 6-1 thanks to their big bats showing up late.

The game was tied 1-1 heading into the seventh inning, but the Bells went on to score five runs in the final three frames to secure the dominant win.

Bellingham scored their six runs on just six hits thanks to four errors by Wenatchee.

The Bells now sit just a game behind the AppleSox for first place in the North Division.

They’ll have a chance to even it up in the second match of their three-game series tonight.

First pitch is at 6:35.
