The red-hot Mariners are back today in a matchup of division leaders.

The M’s are in Cleveland facing the American League Central-leading Guardians for the first of a three-game series.

The Mariners lost the earlier series in Seattle, dropping two out of three against the Guardians.

Cleveland boasts an MVP candidate in third baseman Jose Ramirez, who ranks top five in the AL in home runs, RBI and runs scored.

The M’s will look to extend their nine-game lead over the Astros and Rangers on the heels of a sweep against the Rangers.

Ty France will be available to play after missing just over a week with a fracture in his right heel from a pitch he got hit with against Kansas City.

That hit by pitch was the 90th time France was plunked in his Mariners career, setting a franchise record.

Bryce Miller is on the mound today as the M’s hope to get their eighth win in their last nine games.

Coverage begins at 2:30 and first pitch is at 3:40 on KPUG.

The Boston Celtics are NBA Champions.

The Celtics beat the Dallas Mavericks 106-88 last night in Game 5 of the NBA Finals.

Jayson Tatum led the charge with 31 points and 11 assists in the win, but it was his teammate Jaylen Brown who took home Finals MVP.

It was the 18th championship in Celtics history, overtaking the Lakers for the most of any NBA franchise.

Meanwhile, we could see a champion emerge in hockey as well.

The Florida Panthers are looking to be crowned tonight in Game 5 of the Stanley Cup Finals.

They were up 3-0 on the Edmonton Oilers before the Oilers hammered them 8-1 on Saturday.

The Panthers are in pursuit of their first-ever Stanley Cup, while reigning MVP Connor McDavid and the Oilers will look to extend the series.

Puck drops at 5:00.

The Bellingham Bells are back in town after an extended road trip.

The Bells are hosting the Kamloops NorthPaws tonight in the first of a three-game series.

The Bells just completed their first series sweep of the season, dusting the Kelowna Falcons with just one run allowed through three games over the weekend.

Bellingham currently sits three games back from Wenatchee for first place in the North Divison.

They’ll look to capitalize against a Kamloops team that has lost seven straight.

First pitch is at 6:35 tonight from Joe Martin Field.

And one Western Washington University rower is still racking up accolades after her team won the national championship.

Sophomore Mia Knipe swept all the major awards this year after capping off one of the best individual performances in the storied history of Western’s rowing program.

She won the Collegiate Rowing Coaches Association’s award for NCAA Division II Athlete of the Year, GNAC Rower of the Year and WWU co-Athlete of the Year among numerous honors.

Knipe now becomes just the third Western student-athlete over the last decade to win a National Player of the Year Award.

It comes after the Vikings won their ninth national rowing championship in the closest final standings in the history of the event.
