The Mariners are looking to rebound from a rough showing against the Angels last night.

The M’s led 1-0 for nearly the entire game before LA tied it heading into the ninth inning.

Angels right fielder Jo Adell went on to hit a single that scored two runs on a pair of errors by the Mariners to give LA the 3-1 win.

That was their fourth straight win over Seattle.

The Mariners collected only four hits and a single walk with 14 strikeouts in the loss.

They wasted a stellar start from Bryce Miller, who tossed seven shutout innings with three hits and no walks allowed.

The M’s are still tied with the Astros for first place in the AL West despite losing six of their last seven games.

They’ll look to even the series up tonight with All-Star starter Logan Gilbert taking the mound.

Coverage begins at 5:30 and first pitch is at 6:40 on KPUG.

Seattle also has a new hole at their leadoff spot in the batting order.

Shortstop J.P. Crawford left yesterday’s game after he was hit by a pitch in the first inning.

Scott Servais says he has a hairline fracture in his right pinky and will go on the injured list for the second time this season.

M’s utility man Dylan Moore took over at shortstop after Crawford left the game and Luke Raley took Moore’s place at first base.

The beloved studio show “Inside the NBA” will stay on the air for years to come.

Warner Bros. Discovery told the NBA yesterday that it plans to match the $1.8 billion per year offer by Amazon Prime Video for the league’s new media rights contract.

That means TNT will continue to air NBA games for at least the next 12 years.

Inside the NBA studio analyst and Hall of Famer Charles Barkley had previously said he would retire at the end of next season if the show wasn’t renewed.

The revised media deal is expected to be finalized later this week.

And make sure you come down to the ballpark for Cascade Radio Group Night at Joe Martin Field.
