Boise State, Colorado State, San Diego State and Fresno State all announced today that they will join the conference for the start of the 2026-27 academic year.
The Pac-12 board of directors unanimously approved applications from the four Mountain West schools,
They’ll join Washington State and Oregon State, who are the conference’s two remaining schools following the league’s collapse in the summer of 2023.
The six schools will now collaborate to decide which other schools to target for further expansion, as the conference still needs to add two more schools to reach the NCAA minimum requirement.
The Seattle Storm beat the Los Angeles Sparks 90-82 last night.

Sehome High School is hosting the Northwest XC Preview Invitational at Civic Stadium in Bellingham on Saturday.
50 teams from every state classification are scheduled to compete with over 1,500 athletes expected to participate in the 2-mile races.
Each race will be divided by high school classes for boys and girls.
The meet will include three defending state champion teams: the 2A Sehome girls and boys teams and 1A boys Cedar Park Christian (Bothell).
All the action starts with the first boys JV race at 10 a.m. and awards will be given out at 2:20 p.m.

The Vikings’ boys soccer team is hosting #3 nationally ranked Cal State LA in Bellingham.
