The Seahawks are in Detroit tonight for their primetime matchup against the Lions.
Mike Macdonald and Seattle will put their perfect 3-0 record on the line against a tough Detroit team that reached the NFC Championship last season.
The Seahawks will be without four of their best pass rushers tonight, as Uchenna Nwosu, Boye Mafe, Leonard Williams and Byron Murphy have all been ruled out.
The good news is that star running back Kenneth Walker III is finally back after being sidelined for two games with an oblique injury.
If the Seahawks win, they’ll join Kansas City and Minnesota as the only 4-0 teams in the NFL.
Meanwhile, Lions head coach Dan Campbell will be looking to get revenge after losing all three of his games against the Seahawks.
Kickoff is at 5:15 on KPUG.
The Mariners’ season is officially over.
The M’s capped the season off on a high note last night in a 6-4 win over the Athletics in their final game representing Oakland.
Seattle finished the 2024 season with an 85-77 record, 3.5 games behind the Astros for first place in the AL West and a single game behind the Tigers and Royals for the last two Wild Card spots.
The M’s finished the season on a four-game win streak and won 8 of their last 10 games, but it was too little, too late.
Seattle’s winning season has been overshadowed by the 10-game division lead that they blew in the brief span of just 24 games.
That’s one of the shortest spans that a team has lost a double-digit division lead in Major League history.
The M’s have already announced that they’re keeping President of Baseball Operations Jerry Dipoto and most of the front office ahead of the 2025 season.

It’s been a great comeback story for the Sounders, who began the season with the worst nine-game start in club history, but now sit at fifth place in the Western Conference.
They’re back on Wednesday to face Vancouver up north.
Unfortunately, things haven’t been going as well for Seattle’s other pro soccer team.
