BELLINGHAM, WA (MyBellinghamNow.com) – A third person has been arrested in connection with a child trafficking case out of Bellingham.

Jail records show that a 38-year-old Bellingham man was taken into custody on Thursday, Feb. 12.

My Bellingham Now previously reported that a 42-year-old woman was arrested earlier this month after investigators learned she had booked hotel rooms for a 46-year-old man accused of sexually assaulting a child.

The woman received large amounts of methamphetamine in exchange for booking the rooms on at least three occasions.

Court documents state that the child was also provided meth in the hotel rooms.

The most recently arrested suspect is accused of facilitating child sex trafficking by using his name to book additional hotel stays in exchange for meth.

All three adult suspects remain at the Whatcom County Jail.
