CUSTER, WA (MyBellinghamNow.com) – All lanes of I-5 are back open after an overturned semi snarled traffic near Custer.
The Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) says that a semi flipped onto its side near the Custer Rest Area around 8:30 a.m. on Tuesday.

The crash blocked the right lane of NB I-5 for roughly five hours and caused mile-long backups. It reopened around 1:20 p.m.
It’s unclear if the driver was hurt and the cause of the crash is under investigation.
