FERNDALE, WA (MyBellinghamNow.com) – The fallout continues following an E. coli outbreak from a Ferndale creamery.

Twin Sisters Creamery is continuing to urge customers to throw out any of its cheese that may be in refrigerators or freezers.

The company says it’s identified which specific batches were affected by the outbreak but says it’s impossible to determine which batch people may have who purchased it at a retail store.

My Bellingham Now previously reported that two Whatcom County residents and a person in Oregon have reported illnesses following their consumption of the impacted products.

Twin Sisters owners Lindsay and Jeff Slevin apologized for the concern caused by the recall in a public message.

Anyone who purchased the affected products can call the company for a refund. Contact Twin Sisters at 360-656-5240 for more information about the recall or to request a refund.
