BELLINGHAM, WA (MyBellinghamNow.com) – Two Seattle men are in custody after a drive-by shooting in Bellingham over the weekend.
Bellingham Police spokesperson Claudia Murphy says officers responded to the shooting in the 2400 block of East Bakerview Road on Saturday afternoon, Feb. 24.
Officers found multiple bullet holes in the walls of a building at the site of the gunfire, estimated at around $8,500 in damage.
No injuries were reported.
Video surveillance showed a black Subaru Impreza drive by when a gun was fired from the passenger side.
Officers arrested the suspects, 42-year-old Michael King and 41-year-old Chomreun Sok, at a traffic stop on the 100 block of Telegraph Road after tracking down the vehicle.
Two weapons were found inside the car along with ammunition and magazines.
Both men remain at the Whatcom County Jail on $100,000 appearance bonds.
