Upcoming competition gives builders opportunity to display LEGO creations

The competition is for all ages and creators will have the opportunity to present their works in the Whatcom Museum for the last days of March through the first week of April.

BELLINGHAM, WA – (MyBellinghamNow.com) Calling all local LEGO lovers, a chance to show off your building skills is coming to the Whatcom Museum!

The museum is now accepting entries for their community LEGO-Building Competition set for April 5 or the Bellingham’s First Friday event. Since the beginning of 2024, the Whatcom Museum has allowed free admission with extended hours on that day monthly.

Bellingham LEGO creators Brad Berman and Mike Tarrant who appeared on the FOX TV show LEGO Masters last year will be on hand for the event and will be guest judges for the competition. Entries are open from Feb 7 to March 22 and must reflect a theme of “Community Building” to be eligible for prizes. Creations will be displayed in the museum from March 27 to April 7, 2024.
