MOUNT VERNON, WA (MyBellinghamNow.com) – A Skagit County man suspected of murder has been taken into custody.
The Skagit County Sheriff’s Office says that no one was injured while arresting 31-year-old James Kelly Thursday.
Kelly is suspected of killing 44-year-old Justin Spaeth of Marblemount. He’s also wanted by the Kittitas County Sheriff’s Office in connection to several burglaries. Back in September 2023, Kelly was wanted for burglaries and other charges in Skagit County.

He remains at the Skagit County Jail on $1 million bail.
