BELLINGHAM, WA (MyBellinghamNow.com) – Bellingham Police have made an arrest in connection to a stabbing on Alabama St. last week.

Police spokesperson Megan Peters says that the suspect has been identified as 25-year-old Andre Siftsoff.

Investigators say that Siftsoff was driving past a party on Alabama St. the night of Friday, Apr. 26 and decided to crash it. When it became clear that no one knew him, he was escorted out of the party.

Siftsoff pulled a knife and attacked the man escorting him, who has been identified as a 27-year-old man. The victim was taken to Peacehealth St Joseph’s Medical Center in Bellingham.

Siftsoff was taken into custody at an apartment complex on W Champion St. on Monday, Apr. 29.

He faces a 2nd degree attempted murder charge and remains at the Whatcom County Jail without bail.
