BELLINGHAM, WA (MyBellinghamNow.com) – Utility rate increases could be coming soon to Bellingham and the city is inviting you to be part of the discussion.

The Bellingham City Council will be tackling the topic at their next meeting as the city says a rate increase will allow essential upgrades and critical improvements to aging infrastructure and services.

They say new investments are necessary for dependable utility service for years to come.

The council meeting begins at 7 p.m. on Monday evening at City Hall where community members can attend in person or virtually via Zoom.
