SEATTLE, WA (MyBellinghamNow.com) – The series of debates for state offices isn’t over just yet.

Attorney general candidates Nick Brown and Pete Serrano are facing off on Thursday, Sept. 19, at Seattle Central College.

Brown, a Democrat, previously served as general counsel to Gov. Jay Inslee before being appointed as the U.S. attorney for Western Washington.

Serrano, a Republican, is the mayor of Pasco and director of the Silent Majority Foundation, a group that advocates for open government. He’s attempting to become Washington’s first Republican attorney general in over a decade.

Fox 13 will televise and livestream Thursday’s debate, which starts at 8:00 p.m.

The series of debates wraps up next Thursday, Sept. 26, at 7 p.m. with incumbent Chris Reykdal and David Olson facing off in their race for superintendent of public instruction.
