BELLINGHAM, WA (MyBellinghamNow.com) – A period of warmer weather is heading to the region.
The National Weather Service in Seattle (NWS) says that higher temperatures will heat up Bellingham and the surrounding areas starting this weekend. Bellingham will see temperatures in the mid to high 70s this weekend.
Temperatures will continue to rise, ultimately peaking on Wednesday, July 16 with temperatures forecasted to be in the 80s to low 90s.
The NWS is reporting a moderate HeatRisk in Bellingham for Tuesday and Wednesday next week.
Temperatures are forecasted to cool off going into next weekend.
With low daytime relative humidity and poor moisture recovery mixed with easterly winds beginning on Tuesday, the NWS is also reporting an increased concern for elevated fire weather conditions.
