WHATCOM COUNTY, WA (MyBellinghamNow.com) – Forecasters are saying that coastal Washington State is not likely to see snow in the next couple of weeks, but we’ll still be plenty cold.
The National Weather Service (NWS) says while Washington will continue to see low temperatures in the coming days, it is not enough for a Cold Weather Advisory. There is also no expectation of heavy snow through next weekend.
The NWS does forecast a 20% chance for a light dusting of snow in the lowlands around next weekend. They add that the cool and wet weather pattern will stick around for much of February.
A 40% chance of heavy snow is predicted for the mountains over the next two weeks.
