BELLINGHAM, WA (MyBellinghamNow.com) – Expect a mix of different weather in the forecast for the coming week.
The National Weather Service in Seattle (NWS) says that we can expect thunderstorms and wind later this week.
Rain clouds will likely clear on Monday, March 24 with rivers in Whatcom and Skagit County not at a flood stage.
Drier conditions are forecasted for Tuesday compared to other days this week, and a warmer weather pattern is forecasted to begin as well. The NWS adds that a new weather system will move into the region beginning Wednesday, bringing breezy winds into the weekend.
Thunderstorms are a possibility for our region on Wednesday, but they will be more likely south of Whatcom County.
The new system will bring more light rain and wind with cooler temps following the thunderstorms.
