WHATCOM COUNTY, WA (MyBellinghamNow.com) – Freezing temperatures are expected to continue overnight on Wednesday in western Whatcom County.

The National Weather Service in Seattle (NWS) has extended its cold weather advisory until 10 a.m. on Thursday, Feb.6. Wind chills could dip as low as 10 degrees during that time.

Frostbite and hypothermia will occur if unprotected skin is exposed. The NWS is advising residents to keep their pets indoors as much as possible.

Snow and flurries are also forecast for this evening, but Bellingham isn’t expected to receive more than an inch of snow.
