WHATCOM COUNTY, WA (MyBellinghamNow.com) – Cold and flu season is here and that means it’s time to get vaccinated.

Whatcom County Health and Community Services is offering no-cost vaccines for uninsured adults and children under 18.

They recommend everyone over 6 months old get the flu shot and an updated COVID-19 vaccine.

The RSV vaccine is also available to anyone interested based on age and health needs.

All of the vaccines recommended by the Washington state Department of Health are available for free for kids under 19 and are covered by insurance providers for people of all ages.

Currently, vaccinations are only offered for free locally at WCHCS’s Girard Street Clinic, and their website has more information on immunization recommendations.
