BELLINGHAM, WA (MyBellinghamNow.com) – Free vaccinations are being offered for young people in Bellingham next week.

Whatcom County Health and Community Services has open appointments for the measles, mumps, and rubella (MMR) vaccine from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m. on July 1.

Other common childhood vaccines, including chickenpox, flu and hepatitis A + B, will also be available.

The vaccines are available to anyone under the age of 18 with or without an appointment.

The clinic was organized a week after health officials announced two confirmed measles cases in the Lynden area earlier this week.
