BELLINGHAM, WA (MyBellinghamNow.com) – The Whatcom Museum wants you to be part of their newest exhibit.

The museum is presenting its “Not the Whole Picture” exhibit this spring.

The show will be a visual compilation of 35 years of photography, painting and mixed media led by Bellingham-based artists Garth Amundson and Pierre Gour. It’s meant to explore the universality of everyday moments like outdoor recreation, a night on the town, pets, celebrations or mourning.

Both artists are inviting community members to be part of the show by submitting their own photos that show moments of everyday life in Bellingham.

Any donated photos will be printed and stitched together with Amundson and Gour’s collection to create a large-scale work that will be displayed at the museum. The artists need at least 300 photos to create the piece.

Anyone who wants to participate can upload digital images to the Whatcom Museum’s website or donate printed photos through Dec. 20.
