WHATCOM COUNTY, WA (MyBellinghamNow.com) – Take caution if you’re driving through the mountains over the next few days.
The National Weather Service has issued a winter weather advisory for the Cascades of Whatcom and Skagit counties from 11 a.m. on Wednesday through 11 p.m. Thursday.
Forecasters are expecting between 4 and 8 inches of mountain snow, including at Mount Baker.
They warn that travel could be very difficult over the mountains.
Drivers are being advised to slow down and use caution.
