BELLINGHAM, WA (MyBellinghamNow.com) – University Police are investigating a pair of weekend burglaries on Western’s campus.

The school said in an email to students and staff that two separate incidents were reported on the morning of Monday, July 15.

Employees at a childcare center for students say someone climbed through an open window on the first floor over the weekend and stole electronics and personal items. Workers with the construction company working at the nearby Fairhaven College dorms also reported a similar break-in where someone stole tools from inside one of the building’s lounges.

No suspects have been identified at this time.

University Police are asking anyone with information on the incidents to come forward by calling the University Police at 360-650-3555.
