BELLINGHAM, WA (MyBellinghamNow.com) – A local school is offering a free way for the community to check in on their mental health for the new year.
Western Washington University announced this month that it will provide individual counseling to adults, teens and children from January to June 2025.
The no-cost counseling will be offered by graduate students in Western’s psychology department while under faculty supervision. The students are trained to help with a wide range of issues including depression, anxiety, relationship problems and childhood issues.
Western is offering both in-person clinics for all ages and remote telehealth services for those ages 13 and older.
Appointments are available from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Thursday.
