One of the posts included a photo of a motorcycle speeding away from law enforcement with the caption “Here piggy piggy.”
The man was sent to the hospital and later booked into Whatcom County Jail.
Investigators ruled out terrorism as a motive and said more charges are possible.
The gates will lock at 10:00 p.m. each night and will reopen at 6 a.m.
The man was arrested near the border in December 2023.
Lynden Police says no injuries were reported during the fire.
Electronic equipment and cash were stolen from various office spaces before the suspect left.
The trial began in Whatcom County Superior Court earlier this week and will continue on Monday.
Roughly 3.5 pounds of fentanyl powder was seized from the man’s home and vehicle.
The settlement was awarded following a two-week trial.
