The suspect was taken to juvenile detention and the investigation into the shooting is ongoing. Everson Police say there is no ongoing threat to the community.
Officers arrested the 34-year-old Bellingham woman and booked her into the Whatcom County Jail, where she remains without bail.
The Whatcom County Sheriff’s Office says that over the past week, several community members and businesses offered tips and surveillance footage of the suspect.
Bellingham Parks and Recreation spokesperson David Brauhn said that over the weekend, a handful of 911 callers reported hearing either fireworks or gunshots near Little Squalicum Pier.
The 35-year-old male suspect was arrested on Friday afternoon for felony hit-and-run and was booked into Whatcom County Jail.

The man’s trial is scheduled to begin on Sept. 29 and is expected to last four days.
The Sheriff’s Office is requesting the public to stay away from the area as their investigation continues.
His sentencing is scheduled for Sept. 18 and he faces up to life in prison.
The U.S. Marshals Service is still offering up to $20,000 for information leading to Decker’s arrest.
