President Trump’s announcement of a potential 25% tax on all imported Canadian goods could directly impact Whatcom County businesses.

HB 4201, which was pre-filed ahead of the 2025 Legislative session, would make passing a school bond possible through a simple majority.

Governor Bob Ferguson applauded the decision on social media, saying the department worked through a weekend to clear its backlog of more than 500 pending requests.

The department is updating their Parks, Recreation and Open Space Plan, a document which determines the course, preservation and growth future parks and recreation systems within the community.

The wastes named included batteries, lamps and chemicals in a variety of settings throughout campus, notably from science and art buildings.
