The Whatcom County Sheriff’s Office is reminding the community that law enforcement will never contact you to ask for funds or valuables. 

Road closures will impact traffic throughout the weekend, so here is a list of closures to note if you plan to hit the road.

The Washington State Employment Security Department reports the county’s jobless rate fell to 3.7% in April.

City staff drafted the letter, which notes the many families in both countries who have come to depend on cross-border travel and commerce.
