The Small Area Paving Project is an annual effort to repair areas experiencing large or complex pavement failure.
The Slater Road off and on-ramps will be closed intermittently Oct. 28 through 31.
All lanes on I-5 northbound at Iowa Street (MP 254) are closed due to an apparent landslide on Sunday morning.

The City of Bellingham has been working to secure funding to fully reconstruct the bridge.
Since May, traffic has gotten worse due to the protected bike lanes on Holly Street.
Drivers are advised to avoid the area as aid vehicles have closed SB I-5 at Meridian Street.
