Road closures will impact traffic throughout the weekend, so here is a list of closures to note if you plan to hit the road.
Faber Construction says that the roundabout construction on James Street is on track to be completed by the end of June.
Along with its return come new improvements at the Gooseberry Point terminal.
Local attractions along the road including Larrabee State Park, The Oyster Bar, Taylor Shellfish and Chuckanut Manor are still open.
The technology, called the Safety Cloud, is already used by thousands of agencies nationwide, including some fire departments around the region.
Construction is expected to last through 2027.
During that time, there will pedestrian-only ferry service between Lummi Island and Gooseberry Point.
WSDOT says engineers are continuing to assess the damage but have faced safety challenges.
The closures are expected to take place between 1 a.m. and 12 p.m. on all four days.
Drivers should seek an alternate route until the road reopens.
