BELLINGHAM, WA – The Port of Anacortes Board of Commissioners unanimously voted to terminate Executive Director Dan Worra without cause at a meeting Thursday.

The commission president was quoted saying that “the Port is moving in a different direction” and no other reasons were provided.

The employment contract with Worra stated his employment may be terminated at any time, for any or no reason.

Worra had served as the Port’s Executive Director since 2015.
