BLAINE, WA – (MyBellinghamNow.com) A Birch Bay landlord is facing charges after allegedly holding a gun to the head of a tenant’s mother earlier this week.

Whatcom County Sheriff’s Office spokesperson Deb Slater says the incident occurred Sunday evening on Jan. 14 when a woman was helping her son move out of a property on Halibut Drive when allegedly a confrontation with the landlord began and led to the man pointing a gun at her head.

Deputies arrested 45-year-old Blaine resident Westlee Adam Brock and charged him second-degree assault with a deadly weapon.

Brock was released on $1,500 bail with an arraignment scheduled for Jan. 26.
