Plenty of college basketball action tonight…

The Washington Huskies men’s team is playing in Eugene against the Oregon Ducks.

The struggling Ducks have lost 4 of their last 6 games as they sit at 15-7 on the season.

The Huskies are coming off a tight 90-87 loss to rival Washington State last Saturday.

They own a 12-10 record.

Coverage for tonight’s game begins at 6:30 and tipoff is at 7:00 on KPUG.

 

Meanwhile, the Huskies women’s team is facing a big challenge as they host sixth-ranked Stanford.

The Cardinal are coming off a 20-point win over seventh-ranked UCLA.

The Huskies will look to play spoiler despite losing 8 of their last 10.

Tipoff is at 7 pm.

 

The Western Washington University women are hoping to rebound from a tough loss over the weekend.

They’re playing against Northwest Nazarene in Nampa, Idaho.

The 19th-ranked Vikings suffered a 12-point loss to Alaska Anchorage last Saturday that snapped their 8-game win streak and undefeated season at home.

They’re still second in the GNAC standings with a 17-4 overall record and 9-2 conference record.

Tipoff for tonight’s game is at 6:15.

 

The Vikings men’s team is hosting Seattle Pacific for another bobblehead night at Carver Gym.

They just snapped a 3-game skid with a double-digit win over Western Oregon on Saturday.

The Vikings are one of the top 3-point shooting teams in the country, hitting from a nearly 38% clip from beyond the arc.

They own a 13-9 overall record and 5-6 in conference play.

It’s WECU Night, so credit union members receive up to four free tickets.

The first 250 fans will also receive a Victor the Viking bobblehead.

In the 1A district bracket, the top-seeded Lynden Christian boys topped Mount Baker 78-35.

Meridian boys edged Nooksack Valley 67-62.

The top-seeded Nooksack Valley girls blew out Meridian 83-32.

And the Lynden Christian girls handled Blaine 74-21.

In the 2A district bracket, the top-seeded Lynden boys beat Burlington-Edison 81-65.

Sehome boys lost to Anacortes 56-40.

And the Bellingham boys fell to Lakewood 71-49.

In the 3A bracket, the Ferndale boys lost to Marysville-Getchell 76-58.
