MOUNT VERNON, WA (MyBellinghamNow.com) – Skagit Valley’s famous tulip fields are officially opening this Easter weekend.

Tulip Town announced they will be kicking off their month-long season starting Saturday, March 30 and Sunday, March 31.

In light of the holiday, they will hold Easter Egg Hunts at the fields – with free participation for kids aged 10 and under.

Tickets for people aged 12 and up are $15 online and $20 at the gate for the duration of the season ending April 30. Kids aged 5 and under get free admission to the fields.

As one of the biggest agrotourism draws to Skagit County, Tulip Town encompasses five acres of farmland holding over 55 varieties of tulips.
